Fragments from the attic of Pavilion X [manuscript], 1830s.

The collection contains a note to Miss Nannie Hunter from a Mr. Anderson requesting that she ride to Monticello with him and a brief, undated letter to Nannie Hunter from Thomasia inviting her and Fannie [Hunter] to spend an evening with Mrs. Gilmer, Lizzie and herself in a real old fashioned visit during these hard times when even beans are scarce. The remainder of the letters are fragments, at least one of which was addressed to Fannie Hunter. The collection also contains four receipts, 1832-1836, to Mrs. Mary W. Hunter, for payments on accounts and for the purchase of sundries. Merchants include Thomas Timberlake, Humphries & Keyes,

circa 25 items.
